英语学院教师钱志富博士于近日获得第三届全国“十佳当代诗人”荣誉称号。钱志富老师从上个世纪八十年代初开始写诗，曾师从著名诗人方敬，诗歌翻译家邹绛，诗人批评家吕进，曾出版诗集《掌心是海》和《到了舍身崖》等多部，诗作《瀑布》入选国家“十一五”规划教材《大学语文》，2005年参加第十九届世界诗人大会，有诗作被译为英语、打家乐语等在World of Poems 等刊物发表。
本次评选活动由西南大学中国新诗研究所、西南大学中国诗学研究中心、《诗潮》杂志社、《当代诗人》杂志社共同主办。自2020年4月8日启动以来，聘请全国著名诗人、评论家进行了认真的初评，复评、终评，最终评选出2019.第三届“十佳当代诗人”和“十佳当代潜力诗人”，钱志富老师列入“十佳当代诗人”之中。
此次获奖诗人皆为2019年在《当代诗人》杂志和2020年《当代诗人》第一期及《当代诗人》微刊上发表作品的作者。这些诗作的共同点是主题突出，格调高雅，风格各异，精彩纷呈。

舍不得跳下去的水滴
只好干涸
舍身而成的瀑流
奔向江海的愿望
势不可挡
舍身崖前
舍身就是永恒
历史的洪涛
汇聚在舍身崖前
舍身而得的生命啊
奔腾不息犹如野马群
舍身一跳随着虹霓飞升的
是你辉煌的灵魂
到了舍身崖
舍不得跳下去的水滴
只好干涸
而干涸
就意味着远离大海
远离奔腾的大海
到了舍身崖
容不得迟疑
舍身成滚滚的洪流
是不可抗拒的命运
到了舍身崖
后浪推下前涛
容不得一等
Waterfall
The water-drops will surely
be evaporated to nothing if they
dare not jump from the cliff
The motivation of the waterfall
to rush to the river and ocean and sea
is overwhelming
To jump is to be immortal
When approach the cliff edge
The waves are gathering up
At the foot of the steep cliff
The energy gained from jumping
Is enormous enough
To jump is to sublimate
Your souls
The water-drops will surely
be evaporated to nothing if you
dare not jump from the cliff
It’s no good to be hesitant
When you meet the cliff
To jump and to form into the waves
Is surely your destiny
When meet the cliff
One drop pushes forward another
